I am excited to announce that I will be student teaching at Olentangy Orange High School in Lewis Center, Ohio. I look forward to furthering my skills and experience under Mr. Josh Boyer and I feel fortunate to have been offered to have this experience in such a strong, storied program.

Ohio University Marching 110 Section Leader
I was a Trumpet Marching Section Leader in 2024 and Trumpet Music Section Leader in 2025. Duties of these positions include leading sectionals along with a small team for a section of over 60 members, working individually with members of the section when preparing for evals, executing plans given by directors, and striving to make our current year better than the best ever.

I have accumulated over 120 hours observing music programs around the state. Some programs gave me opportunities to present lesson plans, conduct ensembles, and work with students one on one. (Note: these observations occurred during my college career and outside of band camp settings.)

In-Class Teaching
Many of my classes have had teaching demonstrations built in to the curriculum, including Lab Band. Lab Band involves presenting lesson plans and rehearsing a small ensemble of college level musicians playing on unfamiliar instruments, presenting opportunities to rehearse using strategies appropriate for middle and high school level musicians.
